Bachelor Course
Course of Organic & Polymeric Materials
ifrom the 2nd Division)
Main Site
The primary objective of our educational programs is training students to be creative researchers and engineers. The sophomore year curriculum encompasses fundamental study of mathematics, physics, chemistry and material science with experiments and exercises. The junior and senior year curricula emphasize learning of analytical methods and the principles of materials research. The students study the links between materials engineering and fundamental studies on structural analysis, processing technology, synthetic skills and material design. Our programs are enriched by an emphasis on computational skills, international leadership, and interdisciplinary perspectives on technological, economic, and environmental issues.

Course of Polymer Chemistry
ifrom the 3rd Division)@
Main Site
The department of polymer chemistry is educating and training future researchers and engineers who have wide knowledge of polymer science on the basis of applied chemistry. Students are studying the chemical and physical nature of natural and synthetic polymers so as to find the solutions to problems related to chemica, lectrical, and mechanical industry.
The department consists of 7 chairs: Properties of Polymers, Structures of Polymers, Polymer Syntheses, Polymer Reactions, Applied Polymer Chemistry, Functions of Polymers, Basic Polymer Engineering. The staff consists of 7 full professors, 7 associate professors, 7 assitant professors and 1 personnel.
For freshmen and sophomore students, several courses including basic sciences related to physical chemistry, organic chemistry, and experimental works are opened. The students also study social scineces, liberal arts, cultures, and foreign languages (English and another).
For sophomore and jounior students, special courses related to polymer chemistry and sciences are opened such as Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Structure, Physical Properties of Polymers, Polymer Characterization, Biopolymers, and Polymer Industry.
All senior students belong to research gruops (so-called laboratory) and perform their own reserach works under supevision of faculty members (professor or associate professor).
