11th International Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Conference chaired by Prof. Takezoe was held in Sep. 3-8, 2007 in Hokkaido Univ. (http://www.ekisho.jp/FLC2007/index.html). About 150 scientists and engineers participated from all over the world. The proceedings will be published in a journal, Ferroelectrics.
Prof. Takezoe is a leader of a global COE (G-COE) program. G-COE will have various events and will recruit posdocs. Please refer to the website of G-COE (http://mat-gcoe-titech.jp/index_j.php).
