Our Mission

Beyond Common Sense of Liquid

New generational Ionic Liquids

Ionic Liquids have some unique characteristics: not evaporating even in vacuum, storaging and releasing CO2, dissolving celluloses easily, having complicated internal stracture and keeping electrons long time, not being dissolved in polar solvents and also nonpolar solvents.
Our common sense could not be used for such a special liquids. We will establish principles for functionalizing and for controling them from 3 points of view: structural chemistry, electron energy structure, and surface science. Some cutting-edge technologies: nonlinear spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy and theoretical calculation; will pioneer new field of material science.
