Invitation to 'Polycondensation 2008'
The 'Polycondensation' symposium has been held every two years since it was founded in Paris in 1996. 'Polycondensation 2008' will be the seventh such symposium and will be held at Tokyo Institute of Technology on September 8th to 11th, 2008. Condensation polymers encompass many different types of polymers from PET, polyurethanes, and nylons to polyimides and liquid crystalline polymers. These polymers see use in many applications such as coatings, electronics, automobile parts, and environmentally degradable materials.
In addition to discussions on the general chemistry, physics, and properties of condensation polymers, 'Polycondensation 2008' will also discuss current applications that utilize these materials and evolving issues that condensation polymers can be used to help solve. We extend an invitation to all those interested to join us to discuss these topics in both a formal and social atmosphere.
